P Gatchell Beckley  was raised in the area of Ohio known as The Tri-State Area. Tuscarawas, Harrison and Carroll counties offered the inspiration needed to spark the desire to draw and paint.  

As a youngster in biology  class drawing anatomically correct small animals on notebook paper, P. Gatchell Beckley’s art evolved into detailed drawings on envelopes, folkart  painting on wood, fabric painting and eventually  oil painting on canvas. Today, utilizing photography as a means to capture original subject matter for reproduction, P. Gatchell Beckley  continues to love the art forms of  small animals and includes wildlife, still  life and people in themes.

P. Gatchell Beckley's art has been on display  at public and private locations throughout Texas, Ohio, Arizona, Nevada, and Florida.
